Blend of cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot and raboso, all ?traditional? blue grapes up in the Veneto hills. Don't be fooled by the text CO2! on the label: this does not mean that this wine is bad for the environment, but that it is made according to the method of the maceration carbonique, which gives more fruit and less tannins in the wine. Result? Delicious, easy-going rose-red wine brimming with life and bursting with tingling juicy fresh cherries, with a touch of smoke (the volcanic soil!) for romance and excitement. Thank goodness it's in a liter bottle because it's really gluglu!
