This is a really extrordinary and incredible rosé. Forget everything you know about rosé, or even wine in general and undergo an entirely new wine experience: Made from 50% Montepulciano and 50% Cesanese and raised in concrete tanks to preserve freshness. Combining Italian wine with food is always fun, but this slightly oxi, pinorised and still fruity and tight rosé from Lazio is really begging for it. Slightly yeasty nose, lively acidity, seas of iodine and a delicious spiciness. This begs for pesce crudo; oysters, sea urchins, sushi and sashimi, bust also quail and sea lavender... go crazy or drink it by itself just like that. Very special.
