Great viognier that combines strength with finesse. Besides fruit (pears, white peaches) it has something minty and a reminder of roasted almonds (think back to a stroll in, say, Seville or Valencia, and the scent of almonds being roasted on the corner of a street - that). This is due to the fact that Denis Lattarder ferments his viognier on new wood and then ripens it for another ten months on its lees. The aftertaste is nice, without the intrusion of acids. Wine embraced by a large audience.
